The Training Seasons

We understand that athletes must alter their training during different times of the year. Athletes will train differently during the season as opposed to the pre and off seasons. NxTUP programming provides proper alterations in each of the three training seasons to push athletes closer to their specific goals.

Mobility work and Dynamic Warmups

Every one of our athletes will receive a dynamic warmup and mobility routine. These routines will be specific to the sport of choice based on movement patterns. These routines will help increase mobility and functionality. We suggest doing these exercises daily, even on non-training days. This is critical to prevent injury and enhance athleticism.

Foam Rolling – Self-Myofascial
Release Routine

Ummm, what? Self-myofascial release (in laymen’s terms) is when a person uses an implement (i.e. foam roller, ball) to break down soft tissue adhesions, scar tissue and trigger points (or knots). This technique also offers many of the benefits of traditional stretching as well. We provide techniques and areas that are common trouble spots for athletes to concentrate on. This routine will improve mobility, range of motion and movement quality. Do it daily (even though it may be a little uncomfortable)!

Video Access

As a part of the NxTUP team, you will have complete access to our exercises video database. This database is hosted on our Vimeo account. Every single exercise that we have prescribed is part of this database. Check out the exercises in your program so you can MASTER the form to maximize results and ensure safety. These videos are compatible with computer, tablet or phone so you have examples in the palm of your hand wherever you go. When you purchase the program, we will give you the password for complete access.

Nutrition Guidelines

We provide a booklet aimed at educating our athletes on the essentials of nutrition. We discuss calories, macronutrients and how to construct a proper plate. We also offer a couple of ways to track food intake to ensure a healthy lifestyle AND how to reach goals such as gaining or losing weight in the HEALTHIEST and safest way possible.

Trainer Interaction and Feedback

This is the biggie. NxTUP wants to be part of your journey. We want to help you as much as possible along the way. Therefore, as part of our programs, you have access to our trainers whenever you have questions, concerns or a problem. If you want us to provide suggestions on weight progressions or how to push through a plateau – call or email us. Are you unsure of your form? Take a video of yourself performing the lift and email us. We will analyze the video and get back to you ASAP with feedback to help you improve. We are more than just your program designers. We are your strength and conditioning coaches! Use us as the resource that we are. That is what we are here for: YOU!
